Laurie Chandler is a Certified Lifecycle Celebrant® and Sarasota officiant who specializes in writing and performing heartfelt ceremonies for all couples embarking on a walk down the aisle. As a Sarasota Celebrant, she is trained to compose and perform non-denominational, intercultural, and humanist wedding ceremonies. Laurie understands that memorable weddings are equal parts planning and magic- and she’d love to help bring both! Laurie would love to make your ceremony special and personal.

Laurie will meet with her clients to begin the sweet process of KNOWING what they value and how they want their day to feel. From a detailed questionnaire that the couple will fill out, she will pull together the defining moments and feelings and what brought the couple to the place of “I DO”. She will share the love in your heart through words to your friends and family and most importantly, to the couple. Truly a free-spirited, fun-loving, and professional Celebrant, you will not be disappointed.

Laurie lives on Siesta Key, FL – a small island of paradise where she paddleboards, practices yoga, and enjoys family and friends.
Laurie is also a certified Yoga Teacher and if you should want a wedding day “yoga class” to celebrate your day with your family/friends/wedding party to create a special bonding experience, please inquire!

BOY did we hit the JACKPOT!! Not only did Laurie make our ceremony so personal to us and our love story, but she went above and beyond to help us with all the steps involved with getting married (i.e. marriage license, how to write your own vows, how to change your name, what vendors I could use/how I could find them).
